Shutter Island Final Post

Shutter Island, by Dennis Lehane, is captivating story overall. With its cliffhangers and plot twists, it is sure to make you grip the edges of the book, wanting more. However, as well written as Shutter Island was, I would not recommend it. For me, certain parts of the book were very slow and was confusing to keep up with- making it hard to concentrate on the story. Also ,the book was not suitable for younger kids to read. Personally, I loved the idea of the book more than the actual story.
