I chose the book The Young World because I read the description, and I was intrigued. Jefferson, the leader of his tribe, sounds like an interesting character in the way he leads his tribe. Also, I was fascinated by the part where an illness swept through the U.S, and the tribe goes on an epic quest to find the cure, all while dodging bullets from rival gangs and fighting of the illness.
