Shutter Island

In my semester reading book, Shutter Island, U.S. marshal Teddy Daniels and his partner, Chuck Aule, are assigned a mission to go to Ashecliffe Hospital and find a missing patient, a murderess named Rachel Solando. Rachel is at Ashecliffe because months prior to her arrival, she took her children outside to the pond near their house and drowned them. She believes that her children are still alive and waiting for her- one of the possible reasons she escaped. As of right now, Teddy and Chuck are in a meeting to see if a young doctor will be allowed to be funded to test the patients.
